This piece, was inspired by a poem called ‘Duelling Dragons’ by Sean Mychael Rice exploring the legends of King Arthur in the times of Merlin and magick, as well as appearing in one of my Futhark visualisations, thus needed to be manifested!
Some see the dragons as mythical beasts who fought for the land of Albion through fantastic tales, others as an allegory for invasions of Britain. I see them as real and they are still performing this deadly dance in perpetual cycles, reflected in our the world around us as we mark the seasons from birth, fruition and death to rebirth again.
